About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a tech-savvy accounting superstar to direct and mange TrialPay accounting and finance functions. This includes general ledger, accounts payable, deferred revenue, fixed assets, and tax compliance issues. The individual should be a tech-savvy person, and will be responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining effective internal accounting controls, policies and systems. The individual will also be actively involved in financial planning and analysis, including development of and reporting against an annual financial plan and project-specific financial plans. This position reports to our COO and will have significant interaction with our CEO and entire management team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare company-wide and cost-center budgets and monthly spending forecasts
• Perform in depth analysis of actual to budge variances
• Prepare financial/business case analysis on new business initiatives. Track performance against plan.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and daily cash management
• Negotiate lines of credit, including revolvers and collateralized debt
• Interact with external auditors
• Coordinate tax returns review, filing and related compliance
• Coordinate sales tax and VAT collection and remittance

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong accounting background at a mid- to late-stage privately held tech company. Additional experience working at a public tech company, preparing for an IPO, supporting a high-volume transaction business, or performing public accounting work at a Big 4 accounting firm will be viewed very favorably.
• Experience with most if not all of the responsibilities itemized above
• Some familiarity with Internet payment systems, advertising, and/or affiliate networks
• Some experience with foreign currency exchange and international tax compliance
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, demanding, entrepreneurial environment
• CPA strongly preferred
