TrialPay is looking for a talented software engineer to drive our payments and promotions platform forward in a scalable and robust fashion.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a dynamic startup environment with product management, development, and operations peers to design and develop technical solutions to meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Design and build secure, reliable, large-scale and high-performance Internet services, using knowledge and experience with Linux, Apache, Perl/PHP/Python and MySQL
• Develop cross-browser web pages using knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, DOM and JavaScript
• Design complex data models with relational databases
• Implement back-end functionality of a database-driven, multi-tiered, service-oriented architecture
• Implement front-end functionality of interactive and dynamic user interfaces
• Implement client-side functionality as browser add-ons
• Integrate email service with web-based applications
• Utilize standards-based, open-source development stacks

Requirements:

• C/C++ or Java programming experience
• Experience building APIs
• Basic to advanced knowledge of Javascript, Ajax, HTML, CSS

 Pluses:

• PHP, Perl, or Python
• MySQL
• Apache
• Experience with caching technologies, such as memcache and APC
• E-commerce or online advertising industry experience
• Any technically relevant personal projects
• Strong background in math, statistics, and/or computer science
• Computer Science bachelors degree
• Advanced technical degree
